This plant, part of the "herbal", originated in China where it is cultivated since 4000 and was introduced to the West by Marco Polo in the late 13th century.
It gives again after the cuts. Chives are perfect to add flavor to salads, sauces, cottage cheese, omelettes.

Sowing advice:
1. Sowing: Sow from January to May in pots or planters and tamp the soil.
2. Harvest: Collect from March to November. Extend your harvest during the winter by protecting your plants. You can grow chives directly in your garden by planting one plant every 15 cm.
